I hardly thought when we started this blog that the young actor Hailey Joel Osmet would play such a pivotal role, but here he is again.
It seems Mr. Osmet’s car crash a few weeks ago just happened to coincide with a 0.16 blood alcohol limit and a bag of marijuana in his car.
I really thought there was some hope for the kid when the story first broke because he was driving a 1995 Saturn. Now surely the kid can afford just about any car he wants, but somebody somewhere must have their head screwed on straight for this young star to be driving such a modest car. Heck, our Saturn is a ‘97!
But, our Saturn didn’t crash into a mailbox at 1 am and end up spinning on its roof.
So here’s some advice from me for all you hot young Hollywood actors, sports heroes, and other celebrities:
*it doesn’t matter if you don’t agree with the law, it’s still illegal to smoke pot.
*if you’re not 21, then you shouldn’t be drinking - at least not when you’re out in public.
*if you’re just plain too stupid to figure out that you DO NOT DRIVE if you have been drinking, then I have no further use for you.
