If you’re a Nittany Lion fan, then you’ll enjoy this write-up of a terrific performance by a team with more than just a perfect season to lose over the weekend.
The year: 1997.
The place: Beaver Stadium
The fan: ME. I spent 9 years at Penn State, and went to one game in that time. It was 3 hours of sleet, rain, and freezing rain on a Nov. 8th in which Michigan beat us 34-8. So began the streak of Michigan wins that did not end until Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008.
WOO-HOO! On to Columbus, and victory!
