Who killed Yuka? Analysis of a mammoth carcass


As reported by BBC Nature Reporter Ben Aviss, scientists studying the carcass of a young mammoth that died about 10,000 years ago in Siberia have found evidence that the unfortunate pachyderm might have been killed by lions before its carcass was stolen from the lions by humans.
