Special features include a recording of the otherwordly hoots of the endangered Japanese Night-Heron.
There is also a cool video clip of Sri Lankan Junglefowl (screencap below).
In the news, a Bermuda Petrel was recently spotted off the southwestern coast of Ireland:
Bermuda Petrel in the seas W of Ireland
A Bermuda Petrel (Pterodroma cahow) was photographed from a boat c. 170 nautical miles WNW of Slea Head, Co. Kerry, Republic of Ireland, during a survey for cetaceans and seabirds, in the evening of 19 May 2014. Previous records in the Western Palearctic involve one bird recaptured three times in the Azores and the evidence from a data logger attached to one bird that apparently reached the NE Atlantic in spring 2009.
